How I Got Started

As a child, my mom taught me to bake and can items we grew in our garden. Every summer we kept the kitchen packed with homegrown fruits and vegatables, canning jars, etc. It became a time of learning and closeness that I'll always remember. As the years passed by, my love for canning only grew as I taught my own daughter the art of canning.

After my mom passed away, I decided to create this business appropriately named in memory of the wonderful woman who taught me this incredible hobby and lifestyle. Made With Love and Memories is a way to keep my mom's memory alive as well as our love for growing and making tasty items from my own gardens. A portion of each jar sold is donated to the Alzheimer's Association in loving memory of my mom.
